A dice has six sides so is  music scale with its limitations; both are definite; but permutations of their sides are infinite likewise music compositions  inexhaustible. So is life and man's existence. His fundamentals are constant, but his variations inexhaustible.

Therefore probability is not necessarily a chance affair, rather man's periscope is at present unable to see beyond its horizon, neither his computing skills able to extrapolate beyond the immediate.

You must believe in your self. Anything short of this, makes success an opponent. Could be you are diligent and positively orientated or an aspiring achiever.

If results are yet to be favourable perhaps you lack one ingredient  - self belief. Perhaps your friends performed a feat by cultivating a plantation in the desert and is making a fortune due to the patronage of desert merchants. Then, you can equally plant there, no matter hostility of the weather. Just belief you can do it.

Beauty As a Burden

The advantages being so obvious; therefore suffice to say it is platitudinous dwelling on the advantages of being beautiful.

Beauty in this context will cut across the gender. However, our leaning will angle towards the females. This does not in any sense obviate the fact beautiful men exist, although, the word beauty often associated with females.

The first salvo is the envy that great beauty attracts. Just as when Ants are attracted to sugar. They do not do so, as spectators, but to decimate it. Naturally most people condemn, what they do not have or cannot surpass. As such to desecrate or annihilate becomes the top notch choice. Hence, the finest Roses, Apples or Mangoes are most admired and surely most often than not get plucked first, even the Bible nudges its adherents to offer the best of their sheep and harvest to almighty God. A black sheep or one that is lame remains while the finest are long gone.

To be envied by a person is tortuous; by many is a taste of Hell. Some people think is a good thing for people to desperately want what you have. However, it is one of the biggest challenges in life and can gradually erode the personality of a subject. Imagine a Boxing Champion, an Olympic gold medalist defending his gold, the challenge of a Bill board chart buster, trying hard to remain afloat or to continuously produce monster hits, time after time.

Sometimes, when the pressure is much and there is no way to vent; personality disorders and recreational drug use, is common place to those constantly under pressure. More nightmarish, is the burden of a poor man, whose wife is fiendishly beautiful.

In other to remain on top, there is need to sustain the social status of being beautiful. The reason for maintenance pops up! Hollywood personalities have a hard time maintaining their looks, some lead to anorexia, like for models, others make plastic surgeons smile to the bank, while they bear the financial brunt, the stigma of failing Botox injections, face lift, nose augmentation, ad- nausea.

Beautiful people are sometimes tagged snubs, not because it is often so; rather some of those less endowed, subconsciously feel, it is incumbent on those so blessed to be all pleasing and ingratiating, and end up confusing prestige and pride. And as every one might have experienced at one time or the other, nothing is as loathsome as a feigned smile. The strain on the face, can tug an Ocean liner!

Therefore, it is not in any one’s make up to be so sweet all the time except in aberrational cases or simpletons. Or one who is permanently on a recreational use of laughing gas or a clown parading the circus. So far in practice is rather skirmishes arise, thereof, and without much ado, a beautiful woman is tagged proud or snub, even when she keeps to herself. In reality nothing makes beauty more sublime than to be calm and collected. In reality though, beauty exudes a clout that can be misinterpreted.

For lovers of anything beautiful, it is magnetic, and ultimately they will find themselves at the presence of a beautiful woman, they have either affinity for or familiarity with. Overtures are an everyday confrontation from admirers, and a woman not only learns to live with it, but deal with it as well.

However, there is a downside to it. Her reaction and attitude makes the difference. My mum tells my sisters that are only unusual when men do not approach women, especially if they are beautiful. So they should learn to handle it amicably without giving in, to just anybody.

An average man with low self esteem feels slighted if his overtures are turned down. His bile will rise and definitely, he will see her in a bad light.  She cannot be everybody’s friend or lover. Therefore, many come few, very few indeed are chosen (ceteris paribus), and those whose seeds fell on the rocks, bemoan their status and engage in the campaign of calumny and the pressure mounts on the lady concerned, if she does not know how to handle it appropriately.

When a woman is beautiful and she knows it, then people constantly acknowledge it. It is a compounded case. Foremost, it is prayed she is not a bimbo, because the distraction occasioned by many overtures, is enough to make a female Einstein a moron, over night.

Beauty opens doors, it’s the reason people naturally find it easier to overlook the nuisance and faults of a comely maiden. As well as being slow to suspect them of evil, forgetting that a venomous snake remains a serpent despite the colour variations. While it opens doors, sustenance becomes a challenge. Nothing is as boring and disconcerting as a boring beautiful lady. It reminds one of the statue of Venus; vain and utterly hopeless.

To be conceited as a beautiful person is not an extreme attitude; for uncontrolled emotions resonate in the brain as waves. Curtailment is the watch word. It is an attribute that is special and people should be proud of, not conceited about, as always no one knows when the boundary between hate and love is interchanged.

The pressure of great expectation; false premise abounds here, people generally pity a beautiful but poor girl, because subconsciously there is a belief that beauty and poverty is an unholy alliance. As such mutually exclusive and a snag on the wholeness of beauty; but an incontrovertible fact is Roses have thorns, neither are crystal clear waters immaculate.

The self delusion that beauty is a vehicle to El-dorado is common; especially when a beautiful lady finds herself, being the object of great overtures. And they start dreaming of unattainable heights. Indeed beauty is a visa to exotic opportunities, but it fails occasionally and dwindles as age comes to bear on the possessor.

Little Nothings

After a rainy day in Lagos Allen Red was by the road side awaiting a taxi and a car came racing by and splashed water. Allen Blue on a nearby spot rather got a lift.

Allen Red recalls that both of them had come to Lagos with a bag that could not make a child from a refugee camp smile. In no time, Allen Blue could dress according to the demands of the occasion and in several occasions; Red got to Blue’s apartment and envied the much stocked refrigerator. Meanwhile, Red was still putting up at a friend’s and prowling the streets of Victoria Island in Lagos for job.

Blue, though still an applicant had an apartment and could afford loans, as she said. Red watched amusingly, as Blue was atop the stormy waters.

Unflinching bond of tribulation seemed to be on the increase, regarding Red and as such always felt pained. Blue had a wonderful relationship and did not need to sustain it, at least in view of the financial implications.

Red knew it could have been suicidal to attempt going into any relationship, especially in Lagos, where almost every one’s eye pops up, when the smell of money whiffs by.

Red grew lonelier in want of relationship and Red’s clothes were certainly in route to being thread bareness. Red wondered why life could be so one sided and cruel. Perseverance was held unto, but it makes sense, when hope glimmers. Yet Blue complained that life was tough and wanted more out of it.

It’s what bears upon us, as reality. It is probably cushioned for ladies, in some instances like Allen Blue, but rough and tough for men, in some cases. But the loudest criers are the Blues. They are wont to sing redemption song to any listening ear.

Ladies are wont to be compassionate, in a normal case, but above all, men are more generous. It is why they are financially superior. They are called the fairer sex, yet a woman will not hesitate to slap and will feel it’s in order if she gets away with it.

It is interesting to note that when you are grown up, it is rare to get a slap from your mother or sister. With your mother or sister, it dawns on you that you do not need much money to run even a sweet relationship. It’s when you do not have to prove you are a man. You can go ahead and cry, they will surely dry your tears for you. She would not leave you behind, when a car splashes you; they will give you a ride along. So there is a huge difference between a female and your family female -  A sister, mother , daughter or wife.

Do you have a sister or mother who loves you, just for who you are? Feels your pain, carries your burden and if you cut yourself, she bleeds for you?

Cherish her now, love her back. Tell her you appreciate her. Every relationship in one’s life is important and requires sustenance. Appreciate them and remember one who is credited, thirsts for more by improving. It’s a secret that is so apparent.

Give your mother a hug and feel the difference to that of a female friend. Take your sister on a date and buy her even a handkerchief and you would be surprised to see how she cherishes the little nothings you do.

This way, you will feel much loved…

The varying departure from your premise only makes the claim at best a hypothesis that is invariably lost in a range of choices. Let’s go a-scouting!
Yet the answer is as simple as it is difficult? Today you are here with another chance to inspire or excel in any area of endeavor. Your smile can be advanced to laughter and otherwise; everyday is another chance; thence things can only get better, never forget that.

When baring the cleavage caught on again and went viral , some Jaws dropped, little did we know it was the kindergarten stage, or as much as a test flight.
Now the cleavage display has fallen into the stone age. The baring of the torso, has gone down more notches in recent times. It is funny how, breasts can be exposed all through, as long the nipples are covered up, it is assumed  decent, but people frown at breast feeding in public places in the US, especially!

As we await the navel, which one perceives its already in its test flight to become mainstream, and eventually it will be relegated to the archives. As we are all aware the  pubic area is fast becoming  a fashion statement, called pelvic cleavage. This has lead to the emergence of "C" string, just to cup the privates. It becomes even more interesting, when one notices that often the ladies are escorted by fully clad gentlemen.

Eating Garlic Makes Men Smell More Attractive: Study

When I heard of this study, I quickly made myself a guinea pig, and went into a spree of garlic eating.

The following morning, I wanted to whisper to a colleague in the office and instead of giving me her ears literally, she avoided me.

“Did you eat garlic?” she asked in raw disgust

“Yes,” I simpered, how on earth did you know”

“What a question…garlic smells like hell, is no secret”, she quickly excused myself, as she struggled to be polite.

And when I attempted kissing my wife, after some days, she backed off. It was when she revealed to me, she had been tolerating my presence, that I oozed of garlic smell, and she did not say it with any fancy.

All my life, I always hated the smell of garlic, especially in my secondary school where I had some Indian friends, that I could not face, as they spoke and had thought it was just a phobia, but my experiment, left me scratching my head.

If consuming garlic, could make a man, more attractive by matter of body odour, then Indians and Italians, will definitely come tops. I wonder, how many men, have been attracted to a man, because his body odour stems from garlic? Will any woman in all honesty buy her man, a garlic laced perfume to keep up, with the attractive smell she might find all too swooning to? perhaps as my fellows come out openly gay, we should try and an mathematical link to it.

Sometimes, some research makes me uncomfortable, and leaves me wondering what they were thinking of, or the very essence of the study.

I had to forgive the researchers when I was made to understand that  “the study concludes that body odor, in contrast to breath odor, is positively affected by garlic and that these two sources of odor should be strictly differentiated. As breath odor plays an important factor in intimate relationships further studies may be carried out.”

If further study was to be carried out, why was the result released. Garlic has become so popular, as its immense health benefits are not in doubt. However, for a man to be found more attractive just by the smell of garlic as body odour, will take a long time coming, except the ladies, think otherwise.
